Miniature golf is life

Nobody here should take themselves too seriously — just good laughs, easy-going competition and maybe some questionable putting.

Play with friends, bring the family, or impress a date. Sort of. Skill level is optional. A good time is not.

The course

Rock, water and a rope bridge

Eighteen holes wind through boulders, waterfalls and two ponds, on a loop that takes about forty-five minutes at a sensible pace — longer if somebody keeps re-racking.

After dark

The lights stay on until ten

The whole loop is lit, so the last hour of the evening is the best one to play it — cooler, quieter and a good deal more atmospheric than the middle of a Florida afternoon.

  • Last roundPutters go out until 10pm, seven days bar Monday
  • Best timeRight on sunset, when the falls are lit and the queue is gone

Birthdays and anything else

Eighteen holes is the easiest thing on the property to run a group through — no tee sheet, no handicaps, no equipment to explain. Add food and drinks and you have a party.

Common questions

How much is mini golf?

$10 per person for all eighteen holes, putter and ball included. There is no separate charge for children.

Do I need to book?

No. Mini Royale is walk-up only — turn up at the hut any time we are open and pick a colour.

What are the hours?

Closed Monday. Tuesday to Friday 4pm to 10pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am to 10pm. Those are different from the golf course hours, which start at 7am.

How long does a round take?

About forty-five minutes for a group of four at a steady pace. Allow longer at weekends and in the hour after sunset, which is the busiest part of the day.

Is it lit at night?

Yes, the whole loop. Putters go out until 10pm, and the last hour is the best one to play — cooler, quieter and a good deal more atmospheric.

Is it suitable for small children?

Very. There are rock features and a rope bridge to climb around, the holes are short, and nobody minds how many putts it takes.

Can we eat and drink while we play?

Yes. Food and drink service runs to the mini course as well as the tee and the range, and the restaurant is a two-minute walk from the eighteenth.
